tiny tutus ballet

Tiny Tutus Ballet is suitable for boys and girls aged 2.5-4 years.

During this class children will begin to learn the basics of ballet through movement, song and games. We work to develop co-ordination, rhythm and imagination whilst learning to work together and of course having lots of fun.

Students in Tiny Tutus will have the opportunity to perform in shows and performances.

Tiny Tutus is an independent parent drop off class, though you are more than welcome to wait in our reception area.

If you don’t feel your little one is quite ready for a drop off class, we also offer ‘My Grown Up and Me’ classes where you join in with your dancer.

This classical style of expressive movement has something to offer for everyone.

Ballet dates back to the 17th century and the conventional steps, grace and fluidity of movement are still found in Ballet today.

Ballet has a technique which is the foundation of all dance.

Our ballet classes are broken down into grades depending on the students age and ability:
Preparatory ballet (age 4-7), Primary ballet (age 7-9) Grade 1 ballet (age 8-11), Grade 3 ballet (age 10-13), Grade 4/5 ballet (age 12+)

During their ballet class students will work on ballet technique through corner work and centre exercises as well as learning choreography. We will work to develop flexibility, rhythm and coordination whilst building confidence and having lots of fun.

Our ballet classes follow the IDTA syllabus.

Students in these classes will have the opportunity to take exams, take part in competitions/ festivals and perform in shows.
